Patricia Walden Eka Pada Raja Kapotasana I-IV
In this series, Patricia Walden guides you through the full Eka Pada Raja Kapotasana progression, from I to IV.
These deep backbends require patience, precision, and sustained effort.
You will study the details that make the poses possible, and you will learn from Patricia’s sharp observation and direct teaching style.
You will practice all four variations of Eka Pada Raja Kapotasana.
You do not need to be proficient in every variation.
You should already be practicing these poses and be comfortable working in deep backbends to get the most from this series.
To prepare, Patricia recommends reviewing the sequencing in Light on Yoga to understand where these poses appear in the full course of practice.
For example, see Appendix I, weeks 181 to 190.
