Principles of Arm Balancing with Gulnaaz Dashti
This intensive is for experienced practitioners who want to study arm balancing as a practice of intelligence and sensitivity, not brute strength. You will learn how weight moves through the hands and arms, how the spine supports without tension, how the legs contribute to lift, and how to balance effort with responsiveness.
Requirement
You should have a minimum 5 to 7 minute headstand (Śīrṣāsana), or a stable, supported alternative.
Gulnaaz Dashti is a senior Certified Iyengar Yoga teacher known for precise instruction, clear sequencing, and careful observation.
Her direct teaching style helps you see what matters, then act on it with clarity. Classes build steadiness first, then move into subtler work so you refine alignment, use props with purpose, and develop more sensitivity at the contact points.
