January 2026: Gulnaaz Yoga Club
Gulnaaz Yoga Club is long-form study, not a collection of random classes. Each session centers on a primary asana, then places it in its family of poses with clear intention. The structure follows Light on Yoga, so you return to the same work again and again and see it with fresh eyes. This builds understanding over time and supports steady, embodied learning. Gulnaaz teaches with precision, warmth, and close attention.
She shares lived stories from decades of study and teaching under B.K.S. Iyengar and Geeta Iyengar at RIMYI in Pune, where she has taught for over two decades. Personally entrusted by Guruji to teach at the Institute, she brings depth shaped by daily practice, medical classes, and sustained guidance from the Iyengar family. These January 2026 recordings capture the full spirit of the club.
Focused study sits beside humor and celebration. On holidays and important Iyengar dates, classes turn festive. Expect repetition, sometimes 108 of an asana, shared effort, and real joy. If you want consistency, depth, and the feeling of practicing within a committed community, this series offers a rare way to study with Gulnaaz as the work unfolds over time.
